Requesting access to AI tools

Overview

RSG provides AI tools such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, and Microsoft Copilot to enhance productivity. Access is restricted and requires formal approval. Follow these steps to request access.

Prerequisites

A clear business use case for AI tool usage.
Manager approval and VP/ET member approval.
AI Steering Committee approval (ai@rsginc.com).

Steps to Request Access

Submit a Service Desk Ticket
- Go to Service Desk Portal → Request Access → AI Tools.
- Include your use case and copy:
  - Your Manager
  - Your VP or ET member
  - AI Steering Committee (ai@rsginc.com)
Approval Workflow
- Approvers must reply to the ticket for confirmation.
- IT tracks approvals via a spreadsheet accessible to VPs for budget validation.
Access Granted
- Once all approvals are received, IT will enable access and send instructions.

Escalation

If access is delayed after approvals:
- Update the original ticket with a note requesting expedited processing.
- Attach approval replies for verification.
For urgent project deadlines, notify Service Desk immediately.
